I'm thinking of selling everything and going i7.. before all my stuff loses more value. I've already lost more than 50% from what I own.  Really? Why bother? Isn't your stuff plenty fast right now? Why not just add another graphics card? My parts are already depreciating.. and fast. I can't add another video card without getting a bigger PSU.. so.... oh noes! I'm sorry, I didn't realise your funding situation was so dire. I'll keep my eyes peeled for cheap and powerful PSUs on Newegg and TigerDirect. I'll probably pick up a Corsair 850W, which will run me about $100. Blizzie, I see you have Bronze now for HFCC. Just got Bronze myself this morning. Is there that much of a market for used PC equipment? I thought it was a lot like cars. Once you get one, it's already worth half of what you paid. I only make back 30% of what I paid for the parts. I what to get rid of the 6400 C2D and turn it into a quad. I have a nice overclocker's Q6600. It has a stock voltage of 1.2375 volts. It can reach 4.0 GHz. It'll cost $180-190 shipped. Doubt you'd want it.  Only $200 for new one.Blizzie did achieve a very high OC on this chip. It might be worth it if you're going to OC. |

Given he's on the quarter system and just had at least one final this week, it's probably break between quarters and he's bailing for a few days.

Blizzie did achieve a very high OC on this chip. It might be worth it if you're going to OC. No thanks. I don't want one that has been deep fried by a crazed OC'er. I want one that was only used by a li'l old lady on Sunday to print her prayer book.   I've found some used for under $125.   |

Blizzie did achieve a very high OC on this chip. It might be worth it if you're going to OC. No thanks. I don't want one that has been deep fried by a crazed OC'er. I want one that was only used by a li'l old lady on Sunday to print her prayer book. I've found some used for under $125. It's only been overclocked once and that was to achieve the 4.0 GHz; which is why the value of it is so high. Highly overclockable chip that has only been done so once. And yes. I'm bailing. >__> I forgot my keyboard at school. |

What? ... the first day of spring and no milestones. Slackers! Put the chicks in the coop today. Was fun to watch as they adapted from a 2'x2' box to a 16'x 32' coop. A clear case of sensory overload. Planted peas, beans, corn & 'taters too. Lucky stiff. Still have some snow on the ground here. Chicks won't becoming until the first week in May. Won't plant much until the third week in May except in a hotbed. But the sap is running full bore now. Cheers
