Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

- for a moment I thought Christian Louboutin was a line of religion
- googled, of course
- Christian Louboutin is NOT a line of religion - or
- if so
- a very permissive one
- judging from the description of these $640 shoes

We have to do with an interactive shoe seller here.

I'd sell my soul for some red-soled shoes.

So who's in the market for a $640 soul in exchange for a red sole?

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

Anyone wearing heels that high can afford the MUCH more expensive surgery required after killing their body. Pass. I'd rather have fried fish.

LoL

Okay You can Take a rain check on the side order.
That crusty bread with slavers of butter might be a bit OTT
I dont know about now days but if you went in a
Caff'/greasy spoon (thats Caffff , Not Caf'e or Restaurant ) for a fish supper you would always get a plate with buttered pappy white sliced bread cut diagonally . I'll pass on that

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

Okay Its a sole but what do you call it? what sort of sole?
I would call it a lemon sole rather like a plaice

Whereas these are young common sole or Dover sole "Slips"
easy to fillet the larger fish yield a nice thick steak.
younger Slips can be eaten on the bone with ease, lifting the cooked meat away from the back bone cleanly >)))))))'>

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

- and I remember in Elgin, Scotland, staying at the Linkwood Lodge
- a Premier Inn facility with a Brewers Fayre Restaurant
- the menu said
"Peas - mushy if you like"
- and my stomach turned
- and all my prejudices they taught me about British cooking were fulfilled
biggrin
In all honesty, I had fine meals there, tho
- remember the side dish of finely battered and spiced eggplants in Banbury
where we parked in the yard of the inn next to an Alvis

with our newly in Tamworth picked up celtic brown Reliant Scimitar

To make my exotic memories of Banbury complete,
we were joined in the jammed yard by a considerable BMW
- what a view!

rose OMG, how to silence Rosie - she wants them all for brothers ... crying

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

My knowledge of fishes is minimal. I understand there are
four species to be caught in the waters surrounding Denmark.
Gråtunge (grey sole)
Rødtunge (red sole - no kidding)
- the other two I have no name for ....
But delicious they are, easy to eat on the bones
- and I think you have to be an expert seafood lover to tell the difference.
