They do seem to be somewhat hard to get, with over 22 years (and 229 days) of runtime, I am only at 54 days of Beta work (0.65%). Often I go months without getting a single unit.

Beta units are also something that by definition may not be working 100%, I have had units hang, and it was days before I realized there was one core not doing any work. sad At the same time, I see it as an important process so that when units are pushed out to the masses, they are as troublefree as possible, so I continue to contribute, someday I would like to be a Golden Beta.

Greets to all you SeriousCrunchers peeps!

Greets to you as well cool one cool

Looks like we are now looking for a cure for the flu, new workunits coming down now!

The Large Gray Cat Died this morning

Pussum went at the vet's office at 11AM this morning. As she started to fail and could no longer sit or walk without falling over, we left her a little dignity. Doc sedated her, then stopped her heart. It was quick.

She was born Groundhog's Day 1991 in Enlisted Housing, Nellis AFB, Nevada and left me today after 18 years and 3 months of the best companionship I've ever had. She was truly my child-in-fur.

My heart's broken. crying

Sorry to hear of your loss, of a companion that has shared the road you travelled for so long.

Times like that are really tough. Even though you did the right thing, that does not make it any easier after so many years together. Vibes of comfort and sympathy heading your way.
