World Community Grid is now sending out the 8th volume of its newsletter. In it you will find updates on all of the research projects running at World Community Grid, an interview with the members of Team 2ch, and some important news about web site updates.

The newsletter can also be viewed on the web site.

In addition to the Newsletter, there were several improvements and/or bug fixes put into place:
- The calendar widget on Issue Team Challenge page has been fixed so it will now appear correctly instead of only displaying the header sometimes
- There is now a numerical rank display to individual Team Challenge pages
- On the Team Info page there was an issue with the Rank displaying incorrectly for challenges which has been fixed
- There are now error messages on the Compare Members page and Compare Teams pages if none of the members or teams to be compared can be found
