Arjan,
Out of curiosity: do you have any idea what percentage of DDDT-tasks you loaded with the normal distribution of the last batch, and what percentage were make-up units? It may help other members in this or other projects later to make a guess about how intensive the mopping-up is. As you know the number of cores you have, and you can know if (and if so how heavily) you buffered it may be easy to give a percentage. |

What happened with the badges? ![]() I was wondering the same, and I can only guess... Maybe the new badge is for Phase I and the "old" badge will be used for Phase 2? |

Arjan, Out of curiosity: do you have any idea what percentage of DDDT-tasks you loaded with the normal distribution of the last batch, and what percentage were make-up units? It may help other members in this or other projects later to make a guess about how intensive the mopping-up is. As you know the number of cores you have, and you can know if (and if so how heavily) you buffered it may be easy to give a percentage. First I apalogize about not answering you before, I just read this message first time. I remember I had 100% normal WU's and no make-up unit. This because I filled up the cache and when it was finished I did not get any make-up work for DDDT.
Greetings,

What happened with the badges? ![]() I was wondering the same, and I can only guess... Maybe the new badge is for Phase I and the "old" badge will be used for Phase 2? Or, the new badge will be used for both, with a "2" added where there's now room (it would have been a bit cramped before). Thus, this may indicate that we're getting nearer phase 2 ![]() As to where Sekerob is, I'm sure he's just gone off for a holiday somewhere, and that he'll be back in the not too distant future - ready and raring to go for the numerous (I hope) new projects that are imminant ![]() ![]() |

What happened with the badges? ![]() And what happend with Sekerob? I´m scared! ![]() I also noticed the badge (picture of the mosquito) changed. I guess it might have something to do with the new badge for phase 2, with this new picture they could add a 2 next to it. Just my guess. Who knows, this might be a sign phase 2 will start soon? WCG will not tell us, until the moment it really starts, policy. Sekerob seems to have a (planned) time off, it was confirmed by JMBoullier in another thread. No more info was provided, just be patient and go on crunching :-)

Personally I think the new mosquito looks better. In fact, I will they would rehab a few of the older badges to get rid of some of the white border issues/pixellating that goes on.

Yes, the mosquito looks more dangerous now. My first thought was, where did I got this spider badge from. I assume, they have to redesign other badges too, because I can't find a free space in the flu-badge for the '2'. ![]() My suggestions: Design 1 Design 2 ![]() ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by Mathilde2006 at Nov 19, 2009 10:58:16 AM] |
