I also don't like the new order of projects on the My Grid page. I wanted my soon-to-get HCMD2 badge next to my HCMD one.

Hey-ho.

Looks like they're sorted by Points Generated now instead of by name.

The sort is:

Forum sidebar, fully chronological to the order projects started.

All Statistics pages (think it's now uniform) has them in 2 blocks:
a. Completed projects at bottom, from last to first started (not the completed order!)
b. Active above, from the last one started to the oldest one, with Beta the odd one out in between for those that have it as the intermittent.
One of the calls was that people wanted to see the active projects grouped so they knew which to work on before going to the My Projects selection page.

The completed projects are also sorted by launch date. http://wcg.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline
