I'll be in London April 2012! any suggestions on what to see? I have not been there for a zillion years, but I would go for: A City Tour Bus trip Tower Bridge http://www.towerbridge.org.uk/TBE/EN/ with all that offers - crown jewels, Beefeaters in funny dress, a view from the bridge etc. Trafalgar Square British Museum Tate Modern Hyde Park Madame Tussaud's Wax Cabinet Their big new Ferris Wheel The Parliament Building Westminster Abbey St. Paul's Cathedral Imperial War Museum Canary Wharf Buckingham Palace - hey! How much time do you have?  |

Wow, that's a lot of things to see. We have 6 weeks total for the Eurozone region, including England. I was hoping to stay about 3 days in London, and maybe a couple more visiting other parts of either England, or maybe even another major city there.
----------------------------------------With the advent of last minute website deals, we're planning to book most things 3 days in advance only - and if we can't get accomodation at once place, we'll see it on the way back through, or give it a skip at worst case scenario. Ken., in September I visited York
- and should you go to a part of England outside London I can recommend it if only for the Minster and the Jorvik Center. I was lucky visiting a cruncher there and living with a friend of his and their hospitality and insight, knowledge and love of sharing of course made it an adventure in its own right. But York is a good bet - and you might even get the time for a trip to the Yorkshire Dales ... Anyway, I wish you a pleasant trip, it cannot be anything but interesting  Eurozone means: You're not coming to Denmark  - it also means 17 countries in 6 weeks minus the days in England - which is also not Eurozone Are you involved with Europe, the EU or the Eurozone at some level? |
