Hello, my nick is Chulma
----------------------------------------I am the captain and founder of the TitanesDC (ID R25GXRKKNV1) computer and had previously been processed at Noticias3D.com (ID F4RXM39WQ1) team from 07/08/2007 until 26/04/2009, but now I see on my statistics page that puts me to that I processed Rio Grande Do Sul (Brazil) (computer to which I have never processed) on the computer with the same ID as Noticias3D.com. I note with astonishment that all members of the TitanesDC team that had previously been processed at Noticias3D.com appear in the Rio Grande Do Sul, Brazil) team statistics when none has never processed for that computer. As I'm looking for the Noticias3D.com team in WCG statistics can't find it, is as if had disappeared. It is an error or is there some loose here ready? I'm the founder and ex-captain of the Noticias3D.com, and I'm very surprised with this "error". karrash,Since you are responsible for this "error" you should not be surprised: you have abandoned your team on May 14 without even a word of warning in your team thread (and probably in your team's forum) and apparently without arranging your succession. When a team has no captain any member can become captain by clicking the appropriate button from the team's stats page. Some Brasilian members seem to have decided to improve Brasil's rankings by taking control of abandoned teams. I don't know if that works in external stats sites but I am doubtful that it works in WCG. I would rather think that a country's totals are the sum of all members registered under this country. If this unwanted (?) transfer of captainship had taken place during the few seconds that are needed to operate a planned captain change you could say the team has been stolen, but after five months of vacancy one could see it as recycling.  If you, your former teammates and hopefully a new team captain want to recover their team you might send a mail to support at worldcommunitygrid.org to explain your case and ask if they want to help. Since this team was still counting many active members (as opposed to the previous cases) you have a good probability that support will help you, although they don't need such unnecessary trouble to spend their days. Yes, but one thing is captaining a team and another thing is to take the points to another team. Noticias3D processes in addition to many more projects.
The points should remain with the team where it was processed. Because otherwise I'd rather the credits had stayed with me when I changed to my new team, and not to a team I do not know. |

WCG Has to allow that the points that one does can happen of a team to another.
I do not understand as it allows that a team change of name and carry the points and the users. I want to that my points esten in my team |

Points, runrime and results are still attached to the same team and if you look at the list of its members you will see the history of the team is still there with all its members, past or present, with their joining and leaving dates.
----------------------------------------It is still the same team which has simply changed name. I am sorry to be a little tough, but it is hard to believe that this team has been 5 months without a captain and that none of its members has taken the lead or at least reacted in some way? Now, since the case of alexbertani is not very clear either, if you want to take care of your team now I think you can bring your case to support as I said and ask for your team's name to be restored and a legitimate and careful captain to be appointed. I don't know if support will like to be involved in such cases but it is worth trying anyway. It's up to you now. Jean. When karrash was Noticias3D.com team the team TitanesDC.com, transferred the captaincy team to another Member.
----------------------------------------The team has been under the name of Noticias3D.com until 28 or 29/10. All members of the team are Spain less captain. In my country this is called steal and those who steal you call thieves. kind regards, Chulma Sorry for my English |

We are not talking about a tiny WCG team, we are talking about the first spanish team in WCG rankings !!! and with more than 100.000.000 points in boinc overall rankings.
----------------------------------------The N3D team has internal problems and most of the first crunchers have left the team. The team has hundreds of little users that use their computers and with this situation their job is going for a BRAZIL user/team without knowing it. N3D has only a little thread in a very big forum inside a very big webpage so the users dont know anything about whats happening and probably never will know. The admins of N3D page/forum dont consider the CD as something important in their website so the solution cannot come from then. We are docens (soon hundreds) of spanish people complaining about this situation, and this has to be fixed !!! sure we can get a solution !! sure !!! Hope Karrash or someone else can retake the ownership of N3D, one most important and biggest spanish BOINC teams. Speaking we can get an understanding. People that use to one's advantage the bad situation of a team cannot be a fair WCG user, we consider it a theft, so we want our team name N3D and ownership back to Spain.
