Got one of those exit code 29 errors after around 13 hours runtime on this Job.
Result Log Result Name: erlc_ b124_ ps0000_ 0-- <core_client_version>5.10.45</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> The system cannot write to the specified device. (0x1d) - exit code 29 (0x1d) </message> <stderr_txt> Hope this is helpful. |

It's interesting that both went until 42.32% according to their result log and then encountered the error. Shall I start my WU at all (it's suspended at the moment)? |

I will be looking into this erlc_b124_ps0000 work unit. I'm not sure why it failed mid point. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Just out of curiousity, how many exit(0) is allowed? I got a repair WU that errored out due to too many exits.

If the original error job against which you received the repair job had same, that though would be less probable. Check the exceptions in the security software. No scan on the data_dir is recommended in such cases.

I just took a quick look and noticed that I got a DDDT2 work unit and it errored out. It is work unit erlc_a211_ps0000_3. It also looks like 3 of 5 copies have already failed. All 7 (!) copies have now replied with errors. A [Edit 1 times, last edit by andreic at Feb 22, 2010 7:30:41 PM] |

Now the second repair WU errored out as well, again with exactly 42.32% done. Guess it makes no sense to restart my WU. It would take more than 20 hours to reach 42.32%. That time is better spent for other WUs... |
