strange message sorting...

I visit the DDT2 forum, and I see a post from totto73, saying that "c-types arrived"

In my case, answer from WCG is still "no work available for DDDT2"..

So, I send a new post to point that : "where are c-type ?"

Ten minutes later, I give a look, to see if I had answers... and the post from totto73 has changed of date and time and looks like it was the last post sent, "answering" to mine, and it's not.

What means this mystery ?.... Whoe gives priority if sorting to the messages ?

And I still can't obtain Wu's from DDDT2...

Re: strange message sorting...

It happened again.

The post "c-types arrived" stays the first in the list and its date and time changes at avery post sent....

Mystery...

Re: strange message sorting...

Same comment as in your thread "where are c-type ?".
I presume you can better figure out what I meant with "keeping support more consistent" now... smile

In the lists of particular forum sections the threads are listed from most recently updated to older ones, same as in the "List recent threads in all forums", and their last post date/time is updated with every new post. That seems logical, no?

biggrin Re: strange message sorting...

Thanks for the lesson...

But I'd already seen this post and the replies. Stille non direct answer to my question. Just a fact appears ! DDDT2 seems to be, in that period a small project with very few Wus available... Maybe the flow will grow ?

And, as far as I see, replying to a post does not make it the first of the list. So I'm afraid I don't see the logic of your answer, but maybe it's my brain which is a bit too slow... biggrin

Re: strange message sorting...

To summarize the previous answers here and other threads:

1. Threads on the forums indexes and the Recent Threads list everywhere from newest to oldest, those with the newest posts at the top, absolutely positively. If not, please post screen-shot so we can analyze ad reconstruct. When doing so provide OS/Browser information.

NB: Thread-posts themselves are chronological: Newest go to the bottom... the way a log book is read.

2. DDDT-2 is Semi-Intermittent. Due the A/B/C type dependencies and their groupings, B cannot not be made until an A-Type batch has finished and been inspected. C-type cannot be made until the B-Type batch is finished and inspected. For each of the 18 target in this phase there are:

A type has 2,000 work units generating
B type for 4,000 work units generating
C type for 1,200,000 work units

For exhaustive detail see this thread by Uplinger: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,28528 . You may append your queries there as is preferred.
