Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

some Utoob videos showing AMD booth at some expo,
they start with liquid nitrogen then when that doesn't
do anything more, they go to liquid helium to something
like 240 below... of course the chips dont survive very
long lol

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

Well...
I'm 2 days from having everything else up to emerald. And
honestly it takes what it takes. But I miss the 40 hour WU.
Made me feel like I was working on a Super project. (yes the
rational brain says they are just larger units, but the biguns
SEEM well BIGGER). I will wait, albeit slightly impatiently,
but the neat thing is with another I7 on the way that's 8 more
WU at a time I can run, so 20 Dengue type A's.
Forget Drugs and Alchohol, Crunching for Cures,
now THAT'S addicting!

If you want BIGGER, crunch some climateprediction tasks.
It's like watching paint dry - might not fix your habbit.

Heh, yeah I tried that once a long time ago.
Got the infamous ICE BALL.
The day after tomorrow look.
I should set my 1.6 ghz emachine to it...
see how long that takes to do one.
But no, I'll wait for Dengue.

Maybe Uplinger knows better, but I don't expect any before or during this weekend.

I crunched my last HFCC today, only working CMD2 now.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

He woulda said (or we woulda seen by now) if it was today.
I think Fridays are non starters. Practically because people
shut off work computers for the weekend, and getting
something new just feels right on a new week. I could be
wrong, but I think the only thing gettin any rain is my lawn.

Jack007,
That Liguid Helium bit sounds interesting and yes this stuff is addicting. I am perhaps boring but all I have to do is stay out of my wifes way and make Me happy. Life is great!
