Wow, I read the requirements for this project.. Seems like they are going up with complexity of the project itself. I7 with 8 GB of RAM should be able to do this project. when I built it figured 1 GB RAM per CPU core/thread makes sense.. I have not ran any WU yet from this project as I am focusing on others to get them to 2 years.. :) but when I am done and switch systems back to dyanmic for projects maybe a few from this project might drop in..

The large RAM requirement is only for the "A" type WUs which are few and far between. The "B" and "C" types are more in line with "normal" requirements.

Also, VM 'counts' as memory when I had 6 GIGS of RAM I got memory errors when I got more than 4 or 5 A types. I allowed a 1 to 3 gig VM setting and it worked fine (I went and bought 6 more GIGS, just cuz it's fairly cheap and I dont like using virtual memory) but I haven't turned off VM yet, think I'll do that now. Anyone have any idea if VM will slow down WCG?

If 1 minute a day is considered affecting WCG, then yes!
----------------------------------------The present reported peaks are on A-Type, per job: 221MB RAM use 805MB Swap File use [VM]
WCG
