I know it's not an exact science, but I'm trying to find estimates of when each current project is due to finish. (Badge hunting? Moi?!) I'm sure I've seen somewhere a very nice chart showing estimated finish dates for each project based on 'best estimates'. But I now can't find it for the life of me. I've tried various searches but just can't find it.
----------------------------------------Can anyone help me find it? Thanks, Tom (alver) ![]() (previously known as 'proxima' on SETI, UD, distributed folding, FaD, and Rosetta) |

Have you tried looking in the Start Here forum? There's a very sticky post near the top ;-)
----------------------------------------One project would have already been finished and just had it's lifespan slashed, so after HFCC it will probably be HCC, as with DDDT2 having zero kind of traction base to plot anything off against.

Thanks, Sekerob, and sorry! I knew it would look like a stupid question as soon as I had the answer!
----------------------------------------I'm just trying to decide which project(s) to throw my weight behind next, now that HFCC is drawing to a close. Thanks again. Tom ![]() (previously known as 'proxima' on SETI, UD, distributed folding, FaD, and Rosetta) |

Have you tried looking in the Start Here forum? There's a very sticky post near the top ;-) Sek, the odd thing is that you show an end date for both, FAAH and HPF2, while both projects have not got any announcement about an end that I have read about. So they might go on forever, up to researchers' discretion. I wonder what the percentage means with those 2 projects - or did I miss something? ![]() Regards, Martin ![]() |

No project has a definitive body of work, in particular FAAH and HPF2 that string experiments together developed off from prior experiments, so what you see is based on Best Estimates available and a large part of that is not public.
----------------------------------------30 days work end alert is the only policy WCG tries to maintain and giving raw estimates at launch such as: "We expect this research to run for approximately 2 years", which might not even be constant.
