Re: Join The International Team

Jack, with liquid cooling you might be able to overclock even more!
I have my I7-2600K running 24/7 with 4,3 ghz on air cooling with 61-62c (ok, in summer it was 66-67c...) And the best - it takes only 150W from the wall socket.
Wish you a lot of fun with your new, shiny system! smile

Re: Join The International Team

Yup your right Krakatuk,
I'm slacking but just testing out my cooling.
It's a Kuhler 920, and I spent 3 hours cutting up my tower
to attach the 2 fans and radiator OUTSIDE my case where my
exhaust fan used to be. First time I've Truly customized anything.
I'm running a Ramdisk so I don't want to start and stop til I figure
out how to autosave. I'll prob leave it a few weeks till fall is in full throttle.
Love the cooler though! I have one in my alienware, no where near
as good as this one. (alienware was bought at end of 08).

Oh and watching my snurk signature, I was at 39 Gigaflops before the
cooler, currently at 63 Gigaflops, when PV stabalizes hoping 70 or more.

Edit: actually I've been at 100 Gflops before... not sure why I'm not
a lot more than 63... oh well maybe tomorrow morning I'll have more
points was at 60K today.

So on to other things, we are number ONE in one challenge, 4th and 6th in the other two. Not bad, we're the best small team far as I can see.
Good crunching, good cooling and good coffee coffee
what more can I ask for in a weekend!
Hope you are all having as much fun biggrin

Hi all!
We have managed to leave the Andrax team behind in "Fight against leishmaniasis toge" challenge! We are now on the 5th place there.
That's how it should be! biggrin
