Not seen 100% efficiency under Linux. Yes, it has no hyperthreading, but sure enough it does seem to have hyperdrive. The CPU is seconds ahead of the clock on the wall... but only 2 of 4 cores, a DDDT2 task at 12 seconds and a C4CW at 18, so maybe some traction from a nearby black hole is causing the stretch of the time-space continuum ;P

On my Windows 7 64bit if I look at the Windows task manager data I see that Boinc uses in total around 96% of CPU power.
----------------------------------------But this is true only when the 12 threads just crunch. When they start writing or reading files, as well as uploading results things change a little. ![]() |
