Back to being a thorn in the side of humanity, I'm just wondering if any of our gurus will lose their status when a new project releases. Granted it would only be for the time required to acquire a new badge, but the possibility does exist.

Back to being a thorn in the side of humanity, I'm just wondering if any of our gurus will lose their status when a new project releases. Granted it would only be for the time required to acquire a new badge, but the possibility does exist. Absolutely. Out of 9 gurus only 4 will keep their status after a new project release. The other 5 will have to get a bronze badge for the new project to regain the guru status. Also note that once 2 new projects are added to the existing 18, then missing 2 badges will be enough for guru status, while currently you can only miss one: projects = 18 -> 90% = 16.2 = 17 badges projects = 19 -> 90% = 17.1 = 18 badges projects = 20 -> 90% = 18.0 = 18 badges |

Absolutely. Out of 9 gurus only 4 will keep their status after a new project release. The other 5 will have to get a bronze badge for the new project to regain the guru status. Thanks for confirming that SNURK - I was pretty certain that, once a new project launches, I'd be one of the few to slip out of 'Guru' status for the time it takes me to get a Bronze in this new, up-coming project. Something which is quite right - as, afterall, you've got to 'earn' the level of Guru status.PS. Congratulations on your 400th badge - I bet you never realised that it'd be this successful. PPS. I see that it won't be long before your own Globe will turn Red   |

PPS. I see that it won't be long before your own Globe will turn Red I am close, but still another 20 days or so to get there, and another 50 days to be safe in case a new project launches. The chance of a new project in the next 70 days is pretty high it seems, so it's likely I'll face a small setback along the way. But I'll get there in the end. Unless there will be a new project every 50 days, then I'll never reach Red.  |
