Suppose, you've advanced to the point where you determine the last 30 day contribution and if zero, the sig stops being updated... to save [free] bandwidth to Photobucket.

Thank you VERY much for taking time to keep doing these!! We just started building a new team a few days ago and I think these sigs will draw a lot of attention and hopefully resulting in new participants...

so one month from today I'll hit 6 years and along with a GOFAM badge, will finally see 90% and get "crowned"  Are you sure? 90+% science badges Is beta included in that calculation? Currently, there are 19 science projects and thus, you need to have at least 18 science badges (i.e., 19 including your Beta badge - which is also mandatory) as well as been a member for at least 6 years before you're crowned "Guru". Thus, if I've done my sums correctly, I believe that the sums work out to be 89.47% (17/19*100), and JUST under the mark  Sorry If it's any consolation though, I, too, have lost my "crown" for the second time. This is correct. I waded back in this thread to the post where the Guru status was finaly settled: Gurus must: - be member for at least 6 years; - have at least 90% of the science badges (90% of 19 badges that is); - have a beta badge of any color. So for now (20 projects) you must have either: - 19 badges, one of which is beta (18/19=94,7%), OR - 20 badges, one of which is beta (19/19=100%). However, when the next project is added (21 projects), there's a chance for those missing one more badge: - 19 badges, one of which is beta (18/20=90%), OR - 20 badges, one of which is beta (19/20=95%), OR - 21 badges, one of which is beta (20/20=100%) Sorry pramo...  Oops! I guess it's time for an upgrade!     |
