Re: Checkpointing?

yes, at least i think so. as for my machine, these are apparently very unpredictable. wus always checkpoint at around 7 minutes. using a virtual ubuntu machine, then that's about it: no more checkpoints at all :( and with the last couple of win-ß there were phases of 7+ hours without any checkpoints. once i noticed that BoincTask reported being currently at checkpoint #2 and some time later it was checkpoint #0.

hmm...

All WUs have 15 checkpoints, total. They are anything but evenly distributed - some are just a couple of minutes apart, others one or two hours. If you need to know where you are with the WU, check out the slot it uses (properties), and have a look at the stderr.txt file in the respective slots subdirectory.

Martin

Re: Checkpointing?

For the checkpoint reading details see this FAQ: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=11332 . The instructions are right after the first screenshot and read on through the second paragraph else you miss it... adding a <logflag> in the cc_config.xml, which for Windows does not by default exist (will for the upcoming WCG skinned 6.10.58 I think)
