Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

We have a new graduate student - Dogus Cubuk – on lab rotation with the CEP2 team for a while. If he likes it with us and is a good fit, he might stay on for the long run.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Today we had planned a field-trip and meeting with Nano-C, a company that produces nano-structured carbon materials which are for example used as acceptors in OPVs. Unfortunately the weather had different plans, so we have to reschedule.

As we have been accumulating more and more data, storage becomes an interesting challenge. After an intensive review of many options (e.g., commercial storage arrays, cloud storage at a supercomputing center, ...) we decided to build our own 90TB storage pod(s) following the Backblaze design:

All right Harvard! Blazing the trail in yet another sphere! If nobody else on earth can do it, you just have to do it yourself.
