BJOIC (6.10.58) halted with 16 work units in queue. 4 are “Ready to report”; the other 12 show “Computation error”, 100% Progress, but no Elapsed times and no “To completion” times.
----------------------------------------Nothing out of the ordinary in event logs (Vista-64, SP2); rebooting had no effect. How can I recover from this? Thank [Edit 1 times, last edit by pluczka at Mar 2, 2011 7:22:26 AM] |

It's likely the problem I (and others) ran into and described here: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,30946 In BOINC manager, go to the "Projects" tab, click/highlight "World Community Grid" in the project column and then click "Update" on the left. Your client should report all the errored work units and download some new ones. Update it again if it doesn't after a minute or so. You may only be able to download 1 work unit per CPU core until you have crunched and returned a few. Everything should return to normal in a day or so.

XS_fallwind,
Thank you; updating the project got me rolling again. Though none of the WUs on the affected machine were DDDT2, there are two waiting to be worked on another. |
