Using Version 6.2.28 and selecting the option to end science applications when exiting Manager does not appear to work....although from memory I think it used to!
Any thoughts? |

Not really. Somewhere in Options deselect the "Enable Manager exit dialog", save then reselect, save will maybe revive the function. Running the BM as admin as else it wont stop the service, but since made shortcuts to do that. Maybe time to upgrade to 6.10.58 :?
For those who've moved to Linux wanting to stop/start the core client through shortcut or terminal [when running without GUI]: sudo service boinc-client stop sudo service boinc-client start The BM in Linux is quirky. Choosing exit through the File menu always kills the service too, so use close or hit the X to end the BM only. --//-- |
