Depression
All around me the sea was in uproar But nothing compared to the waves of my mind I sought out a shell large enough to hold me And curling up in the smooth protective mother of pearl I folded my tail around myself Waiting for calmer waters to come  Thank you, Beverly  |

----------------------------------------very lovely and vivid She was...  I am taking myself in for a creative writing evening course in 2013. For years I had just the logical black and white of an Engineer in what is a full colour World. This forum stoked the heart of the writer in me, a true enjoyment of language. I cobble together the occasional poem, mostly too personal and private to share, sometimes even with the one who gave me reason to write it (You have to reign in that inner insane ) Thank you. You have given me hope now that my evening course may not be in vain. Dave |
