My Boincstats for WCG are off. What do I need to do to fix it?

If the way off is about -1695270 points (-242181 BOINC credits), it's very likely that those credits are from the period where WCG didn't support the BOINC client, but had his own UD-client.
Those credits are not included in the BOINC export stat-xml's yet, what was the purpose sometime when WCG switched to BOINC client software. Those export xml's are used by all stats-site like BOINCstats. |

I hadn't look at the points/credits. I was looking at the rank. But either way that would apply.

My BoincStats and Free-DC stats say WCG Rank 511, but here at WCG, MY GRID, Statistics says 525.
For me, Boincstats and Free_DC both say 6940405 points, while WCG says 48,549,291/7=6935613 before the mid-day-ish update. After the update it's 48,617,552 (6945364) and rank 524. So, Boincstats and Free-DC were just more up to date, before the midday updates, and are slightly behind afterwards. As for the discrepancy between Rank 511 and Rank 524, I'm not sure, but I guess there could be 11 Anonymous crunchers above me in the ranks. |

Rankings are of course based on the momentary BOINC credits [some having worked in the old UD points, Synergy maybe?]. Some 3rd party sites update 4 times a day, maybe hourly. Found that my BOINC plug-in will refresh every hour.
At any rate, the key difference is most often the mentioned [legacy] UD points. If a stats site shows same or nearly same as what's seen in the BOINC agent I'd say: Close enough... not heard of actual granted credits [not points] from WCG have ever gone permanently lost... not a single one. --//-- |
