Despite..

Despite all exciting news of underwater vulcano`s and 370kg bullets shot at a commet for the world`s entertainment and in the hope we can find something more than just 'ice and carbon' in the impact clouds, the real big news is that I`ve just broken 150.000 points, and I`ve been able to nest myself into the top 3000 crunchers for the last couple of months. Wee!!

I just had a look at our stats side by side and we are almost in lock step with one another. Our points per day are pretty close and we are both returning about 100 results per month. I have about six more weeks on you is the only big difference. Keep up the good work. I just wish there were more of us running 24/7!

Cool runnings, dude! :)

There`s one box crunching 24/7, which I use at work, and there`s one I occasionally switch on at home. When I`ll have moved in a month or 2 to my new appt, it may be on 24/7 as well, and I may also put one of my older boxes back on the grid, just to make it do something else than just gather dust.

Untill then I hope I can manage to settle in the 2000+ crowd somewhere steadily, and maybe reach the 1000+ crowd someday. But I`ll try to sustain the effort.. just because it`s a cool project.

Dave,

I just wish there were more of us running 24/7!

There are surely lots of us crunching 24/7. I began with 1 machine (PIII/1GHz) and was making slow progress, recently added A64/1.8Ghz, which speeded things a bit. Hoping to break 150k soon, too.
