I have 4 HPF2 WUs that have been sitting in PV jail for 2-3 days. I don't remember HPF2 taking so long to be validated (and my machines are not fast ones). So is the new kid on the block, SN2S, siphoning off some of the crunchers that HPF2 used to have? I'm not complaining... just wondering if my suspicion is correct and if somebody also is seeing this.

I had done some HPF2 WUs (to get enough for my ruby badge) before switching to C4CW, and it took 3-4 days sometimes to get them validated, and a few took longer.

Hi Bugg,
Not as such. But some people aborted everything and jumped on SN2S when it started up, so that might have had a small temporary effect. Lawrence |

The question to be raised here: Who's stealing from whom and is there any stealing at all?
http://bit.ly/WCGQLK http://bit.ly/WCGDSH HPF2 has had for a very long time in the early years of WCG the territory divvied up with FAAH. and still it appears to me that HPF2/FAAH are getting the bulk... whenever anything slows down, they are substantially the benefactors. And please watch the daily/weekly stats flow. HPF2 slows down on Friday and speeds up again on Sunday night, and is often the biggest shareholder on Monday, when the office machines start humming again. --//-- |

After looking at the noon Saturday stats and Friday night, it is with greater probability what Lawrence noted. Aborting of tasks ready to start in larger volumes could have had a congestive impact [repair jobs clogging feeder]. This Saturday morning has 18 CPU years more validations than last week's, and Friday evenings, fell 10 Years short.
