Skip image file verification?
Check this ONLY if your Internet provider modifies image files (UMTS does this, for example).
Skipping verification reduces the security of BOINC. no


Minimal time saving - - possible inexplicable errors - - Why would you want to skip it?

This choice only exists because some Internet providers modify image files (UMTS does this, for example). Once this abominable practice ceases, the check box will disappear.

But kudos for checking all the geeky details!
