Hi all,
Does anyone know how to fix the problem of Boinc sending a message saying the following: couldn't write state file; check directory permissions I was using an older version of Boinc but just updated the program today and still get the same message. I am using windows xp home and using AVG 2011 as the anti virus program Thanks, CPAllen |

Hello cpallen,
You are not properly installed. Try uninstalling, then install as a service. Lawrence |

The machine is now uninstalling cpallen and next will have cpallen be installed as a service! ![]() Welcome to the WCG forum cpallen; have a nice day CA lawrencehardin ![]() ; |
