Simple question, vedy simple, vedy easy (for you mebe)
Which Boinc agent will provide the greatest throughput for processing WU's??? Currently running two laptops (6.10.58) running win7home x64 & three desktops (7.025, 6.10.58, 6.10.60) running I7-2600k's all are running Win2k8r2sp1 Which Boinc version should I standardize on for the best results??? I hate to burst any bubbles on this beautiful Saturday morning in the Sierra foothills but BOINC will not do anything for "throughput". BOINC sends you work from the project, controls it while YOU procecess it and send it back. Performance is controlled by your manchine and the science application.
----------------------------------------A member here convienced me to go to 7.0.25 as it does handle queued work better but I only have 2 of the 8 upgraded. So I would suggest you go to 7.0.25 but you will not see any increase in throughput. Only improvements to your machine can do that.  EDIT: Fingers don't work this early. Thanks Dataman, all machines have been fully upgraded to where any upgrade would be useless, will do the upgrade to 7.0.25 mebe this week
