I have some result sets that have been "Pending Validation" since 1 May 2012.
Is this expected behavior? Is there something I can or should to to 're-request' validation? I'm a new boinc/grid contributor. Ken |

Hello kflorian,
While on the Results Status page, click on the name of the work unit that is still Pending. A popup window should show you what is going on. One possibility - your initial wingman returned a result different from yours and the new cross-check wingman has not returned a result yet. Try clicking on all the fields and see what the various popups say. Lawrence |

Hi dataman,
Thanks for the quick reply. I'm happy to be contributing but also disappointed to have squandered so many years of cycle time. I was a very early SETI contributor but then, somewhere amid dozens of OS installs over the years, lost sight of the grid opportunity. Anyway, I'm back on the grid, hopefully in strong fashion by cobbling together almost 2 dozen cores (of varying vintage) across home servers and work computers. Ken Florian |
