any new projects in the pipe for the near future?

Hi: being less than 2 days away from earning my 11th sapphire badge (and only missing CfCW, DDDT2, BETA - unlikely to earn those of the "active" projects), I was wondering if any new projects are in the works for the near future?

-- Mark Reiss

P.S. please release new higher level badges (maybe a pearl star with a number in it - for years above 2!

Re: any new projects in the pipe for the near future?

Hello Mark Reiss,

To tell the truth, I have lost track of just where the new projects (yes, there are several) are in the pipeline while we work on Linux and Mac OS X with OpenCL for HCC and security check BOINC 7.0 to try to develop a WCG version for use with GPUs.

Based on past experience, they will show up sooner than seems reasonable to me.

Lawrence is there a way for WCG to have a webpage of possible projects. NO characterization of which WILL become a viable project, but just something to say 'we are thinking of accepting these into the WCG family'. Maybe even a NO USER REPLIES ALLOWED thread.
