----------------------------------------So many people request these linky's so I thought I would post them here and maybe the admins could put it up as a sticky??? Boerni's Statsbox Generator Tinyurl The first link will give you the means to create your own personal statsbox which is customisable. The second link is useful for creating smaller url's so you can add more items to your sig if desired. maybe the admins could put it up as a sticky??? Vaio -- The WCG forums are not set up to allow for sticky posts. If you would like, instructions could be added to the FAQ forum by a Community Admin if you would like. I know that Graham created a nice graphic for use by the folks at MOT HERE (it is the final posting in the thread). Perhaps he might be willing to rework that graphic to be less "MyOnlineTeam" specific and get one of the Community Admins to post it in the FAQ forum. Best regards, |

----------------------------------------Whatever works I just thought that if we made links to useful tools more visible/readily available it could save a little on fielding support questions, and make things easier for new members to get up and running. Speaking of changing statboxes...
----------------------------------------I last changed my sig on a Win98 machine. I am having problems on Win2000 and WinXP machines due to a form error on the page. Line 217 Char 1 Error: Object expected Code: 0 URL: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/changesignature. The error occurs twice when mousing over the preview, change signature or reset buttons. The star calculator was done in the beginning. You have to recalculate the total every 10000 points because the stars changed.
----------------------------------------Boerni's statistics system will do that for you. Set it and forget it. He checks once per day and these images are automatic. You can make a line of stars with or without the membername or team name. Star background can be as-is or transparent to match the forum background. Member stars or team stars can be in the statistics box, but not both sets at once. That was found to be extremely wide for large teams. All stars would not fit in the box.

hehe .. i can't say it better ;)
----------------------------------------but .. at wcg are the member stats updated 4 times a day .. the statbox too .. every 6 houres beginning at 1 am UTC time is the image updating .. :) |
