Re: DSFL update

Thanks for the update. Always nice to get an indication of how well the project is progressing. Based on 71% done on April 10, I will estimate the end date as August 27 based on the last 8 week average. With HCC ending there may be additional resources to this project which may end it sooner. However, there has been a hint of another project in the pipeline with no indication of when it may start, so if it does it may siphon away some resources and the project may last longer. In other words, a big ?
Cheers

Re: DSFL update

This is very encouraging news, Dr. Carmusk. Many of us are extremely interested in spreading the idea of volunteer distributed computing throughout the educational systems of the world.

Re: DSFL update

Thanks for the update and for the forecast of the end of the project. I have been crunching away on this project since December and plan to go keep on crunching it until it ends.

Re: DSFL update

smile THKS Dr. Carmusk or the update.
New project? may be. Or target 11 on HFCC ? dont know when.
Whatever, no project will be neglected if the crunching crowd is larger and the range his large enough for crunching choice
The results in fundamental research on one project reverbate often on
another.
Keep on crunching!

Re: DSFL update

Thanks for the update. Out of curiosity are we still on track to finish in the middle of August?
