Question:
Under "My Projects" is the "Please opt me in to new projects as they become available." Does this apply to the computers signed up for Beta testing? Thanks |

New Projects and Beta Testing are 2 different options. Neither has any effect on the other. Beta units are all the same old project as far as BOINC is concerned. It is just we humans who get confused about that.

In the WCG My Contribution: Results Status webpage, I have four WUs in the "Valid" Status. One of them is
----------------------------------------"Project Name: Beta - Microbiome Immunity Project Created: 08/18/2017 21:22:32 Name: BETA_beta26_99999997_1835" The return time was 8/19/2017 however WCG has not cleared them from the Results sheet. I do not understand why this is so. Can someone please explain this to me? Thanks...  |

'Old' beta results from the last go-live project sometimes loiter around for months. By keeping them there, and it bothers no one but a few, results are kept alive and accessible, for one maybe to be able to compare test to production, in case in the early phase problems develop.

'Old' beta results from the last go-live project sometimes loiter around for months. It seems that the old Beta results have been removed from the Results Status page now. |
