----------------------------------------four way stop signs...whoever arrived first goes first...if they arrive at same time, person on the right has right of way... that's a pretty crazy roundabout...lol [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 8, 2005 9:00:12 AM] |

All we saw in the US were "four way stop signs". I still don't know who has right of way there... Once I had someone letting me go then I just went for it. Can anyone enlighten me as to the right way to deal with them? The rule of thumb in the U.S. is that the person with the worst car goes first because they have nothing to lose...The only thing confusing in England is that you people drive on the wrong side of the road... ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 8, 2005 9:11:01 AM] |

worst car goes first because they have nothing to lose... LOL - pwrguru ![]() I guess they call it the magic roundabout, because you need a bit of magic to make something like that work! ... mindyou, I guess it looks confusing when you look at the big picture - once you are on it, you only concentrate on what you can see - a small roundabout and it is probably ok. |
