WCG approved v.7 BOINC client

When is the WCG approved v.7 BOINC client scheduled to be released? I want to take another try at CEP2 processing with the v.7 enhanced controls (config.xml), but I would prefer to make one move to v.7 rather than installing 7.0.64, and then install the version with the WCG imprimatur.

Is that release on the horizon, or is it still hidden behind the curvature of the earth?

Hi pbenn,
BOINC 7 was being worked on in June. In fact, I expected it to show up before BOINC for Android. Something seems to have delayed it, but I expect it soon.

The release of version 7 BOINC is still being worked on. Right now it is currently not our top priority. When we release the v7 of the BOINC client it also involves more testing that is required as we push it to IBM employee laptops (as well as pre-installs). We want to make sure that the version the members of WCG has is the same as what is installed on IBM computers.

Yes, there have been something that have been pushed forward, like BOINC for Android, but we will release v7 for PC. I do not have a date for you at this time which is probably what you're looking for.

Thank you on your answer. I want to start beta testing on my phone but when I log in on website with my Google account and want to get invitation I get error 404, same with link for download the software. What should I do to download and test Wcg on my phone? Thank you.
