Is anybody keeping stats on the amount of WUs being crunched by mobiles ? Will there be a way to find this info on the WCG home page? (I know I can see my own android stats by looking at the WUs returned by device).

That's a question for the techs who are surely keeping taps on anything in Android production numbers. Finding it on WCG home page is a least likely place. Could be closely guarded for a little at that. At BOINC Stats I've not looked as these produce by platform and device/CPU type stats. Maybe you could have a dig there and see what you find...credits will be the number you could translate... say 20 per WU as a reference... don't know what Android tasks fetch.

Who cares, and if it is an issue, go 'shout' to Willy, who'll likely tell you that is what he gets from WCG, who will tell you that is what the clients feed back to the server... Can you imagine if time were wasted to introduce and maintain lookup translation tables for the Scribes of this world so they only get condensed W7 entries before the export files are generated ;>)

and the difference between Windows 7 and MS Windows 7 is?................ The "divergent" OS reports are probably from non-standard versions of the operating system; pre-release builds, tests, hacked versions, etc. that would not be part of the official distribution channels. |
