Good morning everyone.
 Welcome to the team fatmisanthrope. Rod The picture I enjoyed the most from the photos of spiders on drugs was the on of a spider after taking cannabis. I like your comment on UPS's, quite possibly true. My own experience of these was it gave time to allow servers to shut down gracefully. The thing I did not enjoy after placing orders for replacements was the constant barrage from a well known supplier to get bigger (better?) UPS's. They seemed not to understand that the organisation I worked for was a publicly funded charity. |

I have now embarked on my second 100 year quest to boldly split infinitives where no infinitives have been split before and on the way carry out some humanitarian crunching for self esteem and BADGES! In short I got my 100 years in - here's to the next! Rush to the wine cellar for a bottle of something suitable (i.e. with alcohol mentioned on the label)

Welcome to the team fatmisanthrope Welcome aboard indeed, good to have you with us. How those 2 years have flown by Mamaj, doesn't seem like 4 years for me on the team but it was towards the end of July just gone, yikes! Many congratulations RTS on passing 100years  While not looking forward to the electric bill, I have borrowed a couple of laptops to help towards trying to get 10yrs RT for MCM before it finishes. Not sure how long I'll be able to use them for. One is an old XP laptop and the other a spare works machine that isn't required at the moment so I have been allowed to use it. If I can make it to my target or if it finishes before then, I'll have to reduce back down to my usual daily crunch. Having a short term race to try and catch up on the lost crunch time during my house move is meaning crunching for longer each day than I normally do. |
