You would have thought by now that that kind of problem would have been resolved. Looking at that forum thread, it's been going on for quite a while now.

Sorry to see you leaving Dave. You have made a massive contribution to the team in so many ways and will be a huge loss. I must admit to having lost a lot of enthusiasm for WCG but have decided to continue in the hope of better days ahead.

Mr Robinson, I'm also saddened to hear your leaving for good, I can sympathise, I can't find the enthusiasm I used to have or the money for the Eleccy Bills, maybe one day things will change for the better and I'll rejoin myself.

Thank you all for your kind words. I would love to continue contributing, but all good things must come to an end, and in this case I think it ended when IBM moved on. I just don't see the value to research teams of an unreliable, unloved and underfunded platform, and I don't see the value to me, other than frustration. I wish you all the very best, particular DMNI and Rod "Personal Solar Farm" Peel, with both of whom I've had some "off grid" exchanges over the years.

I only discovered that the Team UK Stats, devised and administered by Dave Robinson are no more. Very sad but completely understandable. With all the Krembil shenanegans (however you spell it) I was very tempted to pull the plug however, as noted by Dave above, I have acquired 9.6 kW of Solar Power which has left me almost independent of the grid. With over 265 sunny days here in Bolivia my WCG now really costs me nothing.
----------------------------------------I will keep going and lets see where we get to in the end. What would Douglas Adams have said to Dave? "so long and thanks for all the fish"

And it's goodbye from me. After 14 years of intensive crunching I realised that with the change of administration of WCG, I was wasting my time.
