I know a few people who've done relatively well out of BitCoin recently (nothing major, just a few hundred dollars profit, maybe peaking into a thousand or two), although nothing quite on the scale of the guy in Norway who found a hard-drive that contained his four-year-old BC-wallet that he'd bought 5,000 BitCoins for about $25 in 2008-9, that was worth just under $900,000 at the time of the news-article (it'd be worth close to $5,000,000 at yesterday's close-of-play exchange rate).

It's a pure gamble, definitely, as the massive upward-slope the exchange rate seems to be seeing at the moment definitely cannot last forever...

I loved the professionals as a kid (and still do), the best James Bond that never was, I'm shocked and saddened, my prayers will go out to his family. He died of Cancer aged just 67... RIP Lewis sad

That was another story that came out recently, the guy in Newport - my reference was to the story below, a guy in Norway who managed to find his old BitCoin wallet...
