I haven't been able to upload to WCG for the past few days. Any ideas?

Here is my log:


14-Feb-2015 12:11:20 [---] [error] Can't create HTTP response output file http_temp_0


@ Clockwork

Too busy watching the rugby yesterday and missed your post sad

I searched the forum for HTTP+response+output which led here

It appears that the following may be relevant:
This sounds like a security issue. File write access is being denied possibly due to AV/Firewall or just using a non admin account during setup (adding project).
Are you logged on as an administrator and during the installation did you allow all users to control Boinc?
What overkill security software are you using?
Did you set the Firewall exceptions for Boinc?

FW/AV were mentioned as obstructing factors in the provided links. Recommended is to exclude C:\ProgramData\BOINC from AV scanning.

If that doesn't help I suggest you repost the problem in the wider forum here

It was working before, but seemed to die when I was tweaking my firewall the other day. If I turn the firewall off, it works fine. N.B The firewall is only a network firewall so clearly there's some closed ports that are causing this, but I can't seem to identify what ports need to be open for BOINC/WCG

Never mind. It was nothing to do with the firewall (odd given it worked when the firewall was off!).

Just a file permission issue.
