Good morning team.

Good morning everyone. smile

RYS48. Your comment on Lewis in the Japan Grand Prix seems right (roll on the championship), to my own view the overtaking manoeuvre at the first corner was a little iffy but not an unsporting one. Two bodies cannot occupy the same time & space, someone had give way, that Rosberg did this means that Mercedes team took priority, think Nico could have done more to defend 2nd place not dropping to fourth. Purely my view. smile

Re: Good morning team.

I've just realised - what happened to the stats that were posted here daily?

Re: Good morning team.

Afternoon all.

Clockwork - I presume you are referring to the superb stats as brought to us by the team's resident Statsmeister Jonnieb. Unfortunately for him, real life has conspired against him and so he has taken a leave of absence, so to speak. He is still returning results for the team though. I have spied his name reading the thread from time to time so hopefully he'll drop a line in here to let us know how things are.

By the way, how's your server doing these days after its problems a little while back?

Seems to be running fine at the moment (touch wood)! Fortunately it's rented though so if the hardware breaks it's not my problem.

domonijo I don't know how true it was but Lewis said that he had understeer at that point so his wide manoeuvre was not deliberate. Full marks for Nico in not shunting him (as at Spa last year) and well done too in returning to take second place. For sure it was a racer's (Lewis') response to an opportunity. Nico didn't seem angry or upset when asked about the 'incident' at the winners interview.

Re: Good morning team.

Good Morning Team,
I was very disappointed last night as I was looking forward to seeing the eclipse of the Super Moon. Needless to say for the first night in ages it was cloudy. Boo Hoo.

Re: Good morning team.

RTS48, much the same here but expected, brilliant moon until 00.20 (BST) then the clouds came with a vengeance, not that surprised.

Re: Good morning team.

It was pretty clear at mine, but unfortunately I would have had to go outside to take any photos of it, as my flat windows face either east or south (with the west-view from that south-facing window blocked by other flats), and it vanished behind the flats at around 1am.

Given that I had to be up for work at around 6:30am today, the last thing I wanted to be doing was heading outside (and hence waking myself up with the cold) at 1am.
