Thread: system not uploading my completed units [RESOLVED] |

In my messages I've been getting since early this morning
----------------------------------------WCG 24/08/13 19:59 temporarily failed upload of faah08235_ZINC01635498 [etc] Followed by Backing off 2hr 17mins on upload of above Faah Then Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down Project communications failed I haven't touched any of my settings for yonks and I'm running basically Aids and occasionally still picking up Schistosoma 6.20 work units Can't believe I'm the only person experiencing this problem. Well, I've not experienced any upload failure today, so it's not a global problem. My SN2S uploads are going quickly as usual:

I think there was some downtime some hours ago as the forums were offline for a while and I had some SN2S uploads hanging for over 5 minutes.

Both FAAH and SN2S uploading and reporting fine here....

Thanks for responding guys.
My situation hasn't changed apart from fact that I don't seem to be downloading any new work units now as I would expect. Have tried restarting PC as advised in "help" section with no difference. Watchspring |

I've got second machine [ really old] that crunches away relatively well for it's age and surprise, surprise - it's working fine - uploading and still getting new work units.
So, would appear that problem lies with first computer. ?? But what? I've adjusted nothing and none of my settings are changed. Watchspring |

Went to bed giving up all hope . . . Switched off main PC as I thought it's not much point. Keeping fingers crossed I've just powered back up again - and all the units that were "stuck", waiting to be uploaded, had vanished. Will have to wait till later to see if I got credit for the 30 it had worked on for 24 hours plus. Thanks for getting back anyway. all the best Watchspring |

Final ?? update.
