WCG Service Question

I have four machines crunching, all running the 6.10.58 client with default profile on Win7 Pro SP1. But only two run the WCG service, or so it seems since the others don’t even include it under services.msc. Why might this be? (It doesn’t seem to be causing any problems.)

I always accept BOINC’s defaults when installing or upgrading, and every machine launches the client shortly after login following a reboot.

Thank you.

Re: WCG Service Question

The two not running as a service can be made to run as a service by re-installing Boinc and seloecting "Run as a service". Why they are not the same I have no idea wink
