My Brother had to go over to India to check on the quality of some Engineering stuff. He said that there were people welding with no gloves or overalls on and people on the ground slinging and turning over large steel plates with a crane who were barefoot. And lots of other dodgy and precarious, dangerous looking stuff.

Personally I would rather lose a contract, than have to sub-contract parts out to stay competitive to companies who treat their workers so badly.

While he stayed in a top class hotel, just a little bit away, people were living in terrible poverty. sad
