Well, I'm totally out now as well - what's scuppered me, was not 'upping' my CEP2 limit when they became shorter..

No comment from the CAs is not surprising - they only have access to the same information that we do.
----------------------------------------Yes it's frustrating that there's no comment or action from the techs but it is still only 06.44 EDT on a Saturday. WCG is generally very reliable. As good a time as any on for a One Ping Only Vasili "... no reaction from a community advisor..." and what exactly are CA's to add to this discussion? Servers are on-line, as anyone can see at the 3rd party sources, and client logs say that the feeder, scheduler more factually, is off-line [same as it has been saying for QMC for the past 96 hours to report a 100 hour job :(]

As Sekerob says, woken up by a monitoring device. Unfortunately the feeder outage happened during my sleeping hours.
It appears that there was an issue with the connection between the server that runs the feeder and the database server. I have kicked the feeder and it is running again. As the logs for the feeder are reporting, lots of new work is being picked up at this moment... With the feeder being down for 6 hours, it could take a bit for work to get distributed again and you may see no work available due to high demand. Thanks again for your patience, -Uplinger |
