confused CA certificate issue

Need some help sorting this one out.

12/2/2013 8:04:02 AM | World Community Grid | Scheduler request failed: Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates
12/2/2013 8:04:03 AM | | Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
12/2/2013 8:04:05 AM | | Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.

I just noticed this today, but apparently I have been bouncing back workload since 08/08/2013... I did detach and reset with no change.

Any ideas?

PS: I am also connected to SETI@home and that workload is not having this same issue.

Re: CA certificate issue

WCG is the only BOINC project that makes use of secure connection verification certificates, so that's one explanation out of the way.

The 'peer' thing has a Start Here FAQ, certainly you need to check if the ca-bundle.crt file is in the right place [For Windows in C:\program files\BOINC. Run the BOINC installer repair in case the access rights got mangled.
