Good...so it's stable about 20-25th Aug... In meantime, since abandoning OET...my estimate for a 20y D badge is coming to end of Jul...so I'm in clear! At least for the moment it is stable. Beware, that it could change without warning. Hopefully it won't. Cheers I know...we have to wait for next line of WUs came for Ovarian cancer MCM WUs... OET ends in May. The completion of a project will then put additional computing resources to the remaining project. You also have the SXSW conference that WCG will be a presenter at; that too could bring additional computing resources and reduce timelines. yeah, but we'll have another project this year...remember that slip-up from a scientists: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/about_us/viewNewsArticle.do?articleId=455 |

The following figures are based on a total number of work units of 530,000,000 from cubes (project scientist) with the addition of Seippel (WCG tech).
----------------------------------------Hello all, We've received an update on the estimate batch count from the researchers that has added another 9000 batches making the new estimate 26,500 batches. However, this is only an estimate (a lot can change in the almost one year it will take to complete these new batches). Also, the progress bar on the webpage has been updated accordingly. Thanks, Seippel Last 30 day average results:542,738 Estimated end date using 30 day average: August 28, 2016 Percent Complete:75.50467% The average length of a WU is currently running about 3.02 hours, less than last week, gradually decreasing as the week went on. If I look at the latest batch I have received, 19979, that would be about 75.39% complete. We are at about 7.98 more months (approx. 239 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The days in the past week ,on average, had some decreasing run times. The projected completion date has increased just a bit since last week. Production decreased a bit this past week going from about 3.96 million WU's to 3.5 million WU's completed. Remember, the situation can change at any time and these are only estimates. Cheers

that slip of +5d might be from a larger weight of FAHB project on WCG...it has been changed, as more & more people abandon it...like they are abandoning continuously CEP2!
----------------------------------------seems like they (scientists) had great ideas...but they didn't think about final consumers (crunchers) & they rating of the project... EDIT: made it to 25k of returned results for MCM project! ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by KLiK at Jan 5, 2016 8:03:12 AM] |

Thanks, Seippel Last 30 day average results:516,430 Estimated end date using 30 day average: September 10, 2016 Percent Complete:76.05870% The average length of a WU is currently running about 4.37 hours, more than last week, peaking on January 6 at 4.77 hours per WU and then gradually decreasing as the week continued. If I look at the latest batch I have received, 20129, that would be about 75.96% complete. We are at about 8.19 more months (approx. 245 days)of additional crunching at the current recent run rate. The days in the past week ,on average, had some increased run times. The projected completion date has increased just a bit since last week. Production decreased quite a bit this past week going from about 3.5 million WU's to 2.94 million WU's completed. There were a few batches that came through on my machines which took 11 to 12 hours rather than the 3 to 4 hours I had been seeing. Thankfully there were not too many of them, but we do see the impact of those batches. My machines are now crunching WU's in the 4 hour range. Remember, the situation can change at any time and these are only estimates. Cheers
