Re: smile smile Team JTS2... For those who are "Just Testing Something"! smile smile

usafa's load today and his sig pic remind me of the B-52's in 'Nam that carried 108 500lb iron bombs. The only weapon system we used there that actually scared the VC. usafa dropped almost that much for us in one shot.
Fantastic! cool
Wish I would have known that you were dropping off a few points USAFA because I would have helped out..Show these people how we did it in the old days.... cool

Re: smile smile Team JTS2... For those who are "Just Testing Something"! smile smile

Good morning JTS2 team, from Atlanta, Georgia!

I'm a recent expatiate from grid.org, where I started crunching in February, 2003. I enjoy feeling like I'm contibuting to the common good and quickly became "addicted". Over time I installed the UD agent on numerous computers belonging to my friends and relatives. The phone calls I received from them last month when the registation window appeared on their computers temporarily soured my DC experience. I could have shrugged off having my stats reset to zero but I couldn't forgive the re-registration fiasco.

Now I'm ready to resume crunching, minus the on-going problems at Grid.org, and minus the devices belonging to my friends and relatives.

I bring 12 devices to the team - 10 of them I built and make up my DC farm at home. Of those 10, only one uses an Intel processor and the rest use AMD. All of the processors are overclocked. The slowest processors are 2.0Ghz and the fastest are 2.6 Ghz. I have 3 dual procssor computers using VMWare so I can run an agent on each processor. They all have enough memory for maximum points and the minimum hard disk space needed for maximum points. None of the farm computers have diskette/CD/DVD drives. I have one USB CD/DVD drive for installing software. The compuers are all connected to a KVM switch so I have a single monitor, keyboard and mouse. The machines are networked through a hub to a DSL gateway. They chug along 24/7 and should contribute ~10,000 points a day to the team.

I value my time away computers and enjoy bicycling, hiking and doing anything with my family, so I might not check the forums for days or even weeks at a time. However, I will participate whenever I'm online.

I'm looking forward to our time together!
