How comes for the same below-listed completed task I get 230.6 credit and the other guy gets 999.4 (almost 3 times more than claimed) for the same time of calculation (18 hours) ?

- Claimed: estimated points when task is sent out. Non-important for us.

Variations in Points for CEP2 are highlighted and discussed in this thread:
----------------------------------------Crazy Points You should note the following from uplinger: Jan 16 There are a few things going on, some of the members who are claiming X points but getting Y is due to how they are calculated. Each task for CEP2 has 15 jobs within it. Say you are able to complete all 15 but your wingman is only able to complete the first one, this would cause the credit to be higher in your favor generally. This project is different then the others because it gives credit based on jobs completed which may not always match between two wingman. We are currently working on upgrading the backend server code, which would change the way credit is granted. Since this is coming down the pipe in the future, our priority is to get it out the door first. As many of you know, I can not give a timetable on that, but I can tell you we are testing it now. Jan 20 We will be taking a more in depth look at the new credit system when it is live. Please be patient as we work towards releasing the new code. if you're crunching to obtain XRPs CEP2 is probably best avoided. |

I am not crunching only for the XRP. Even if they stop the XRP giveaway I will continue Crunching because WCG is a true Noble cause.
----------------------------------------I am Cryptocurius and while Googling around for Alternative coins and their capitalization I came across Ripple, from which I Found out the existence of WCG and Boinc. With no second thought, although I never mined ANY crypto currency, I decided immediately to participate to this Noble cause and contribute any spare computing power I have (I am crunching even on my tablet  ) .Collecting XRP is not the initiative, it is a nice "side effect" though. Anyway I have not read of anyone making any profit from it or selling XRP for real money. Its a nice to have return. I am contributing to all projects because i don't mind the ripples, I just want to be another drop in this ocean of contribution to humanity, and part of the next breakthrough to be announced (like Fight against childhood cancer).
