Hello,
my Android phone has been crunching for a week now but still has 0 points and doesn't show up in the clients list on the website. I manually installed an older apk because the one from the Play Store always had "nothing to do". Is there a known problem with not receiving any points? Bastian |

There's some issues with Android FAHV and lots of those work units are replicated over and over and take a lot of time to validate - or eventually turn out invalid. Take a look at your result page and filter the stats for that device, if you have valid work units, you should have some credit.

Thanks for your reply. Today the first 2 results showed up for the Android device. Does it just take a long time for the results to be validated or are most of them discarded?
If most of the work is lost, I wonder if it is worth to run the app at my phone at this point. |

It takes a long time for some to be validated, sometimes over a week, it all depends how fast the wingmen send theirs in......

On the WCG website, click on My Contribution - results Statis (the results status page) and see what it says. It should tell you what the BOINC server knows about your recent work.

Hello bastian1337,
Ugh! Some people have discovered that their tablet can successfully run 1 or more work units at a time, but not as many as the core count would suggest. Have you tried running just 1 work unit at a time? Lawrence |

Hello Lawrence,
thanks, I will try that. I changed the setting to only one core on a Nexus 4. Will see what happens. Bastian |
